To ensure our quality, Reestlandhoeve Care works with the quality system ‘Quality shows’. We start from positive health and work according to the following core values stated in the quality framework for care farming 2023-2028:
- I belong and participate. At the Reestlandhoeve there are opportunities for all kinds of social contacts with other participants and team members. As a participant, you are also part of the team.
- I do useful work. There are various useful activities at the Reestlandhoeve. These can be labor activities such as in the vineyard, the vegetable garden, the yard. But also things are made of wood and creative activities are among the possibilities.
- Healthy eating together. The Reestlandhoeve has a large vegetable garden with various vegetables. During the growing season we go into the garden daily to harvest vegetables for a fresh soup that is served with your own sandwich you brought.
- Plenty of space and being outside. It is nice to be outside at the Reestlandhoeve. You can go outside together but if you prefer to go alone, that’s possible too. Just enjoy the peace, the sun or the wind blowing through your head. Or just let off steam outside because it’s all too much for you.
- Rhythm and structure of nature and the seasons provides a foothold. The seasons are very important for the Reestlandhoeve. It is great to be able to get back to work in the spring, to get the vineyard ready for the new season, to sow the vegetable garden again, to set up the terrace for our wine guests. But it is also nice when all the hustle and bustle is behind us again, everything is tidied up and there is time for rest.
- I am seen and heard. At the Reestlandhoeve, personal attention is self-evident. We are curious about who you are, what we can do for you and what you can do for the Reestlandhoeve. These do not have to be great things. The fact that you are here and enjoy being with us can mean a lot.
- Life at the Reestlandhoeve is like ordinary life. There is not too much talk about care. But if it is necessary, of course we make time for it. There is a homely atmosphere and we are busy with everyday tasks. There is certainly attention to safety but we won’t take everything out of the way and do everything we can to prevent anything from possibly happening.
- I get a chance to learn. It is possible that the Reestlandhoeve is a stepping stone to regular work or some other form of participation.
