Visit the Reestlandhoeve

On the border between Overijssel and Drenthe lies a unique and unspoiled stream valley. Through the valley winds the meandering river the Reest. The Reest Valley is an age-old valley — an intimate cultural landscape of forests, heathland, hay meadows and old farmhouses. Right in the middle of this idyllic landscape sits Wijngoed de Reestlandhoeve.

Come stroll through our vineyard, soak up the atmosphere and taste our wines in the Winebar or on the terrace.

We’d love to tell you about our philosophy and approach at the Wine estate and the care farm. Extend your visit with a guided tour of the vineyard and a wine tasting. Or explore at your own pace with an informative audio tour through the vineyard. You can also set off on a walking or cycling route from the Reestlandhoeve and round off the day with a drink in our Winebar.

Our Winebar is open from June through September on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday through Saturday, and from October through May on Thursdays and Saturdays. We appreciate it if you make a reservation in advance. Wine can be purchased in our Wineshop during Winebar opening hours. On other days, please call ahead to make an appointment — tasting is not available on those occasions.

Guided tour with winetasting

Join one of our guided tours (available in English upon request) with wine tasting. We’d love to tell you more about our natural growing methods and the story behind our award-winning wines. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Reestlander sparkling wine. The tour concludes with a wine tasting.

Audio tour with winetasting

Come and taste the Reestlander wines and discover our Wijngoed. Stroll through the vineyard with our audio tour (available in English, German and Dutch) and enjoy a guided wine tasting of 5 wines.

Wine & Activity

Start the day with coffee or tea and freshly baked cake in our atmospheric Wijnbarn or on the Wijnterras. After your welcome, you’ll walk through the vineyard and the Reest Valley (7, 10, 13 or 15 kilometres). On returning to the Reestlandhoeve, a tasting of 5 Reestlander wines awaits you.

Wine & Cheese tasting

A unique culinary experience. Taste 6 Dutch cheeses paired with 6 different drinks, including Reestlander wines and other regional beverages. In 3 rounds, you’ll discover each cheese with its matching drink. Will you join us?
